Here at Cedar Creek of Hastings we pride ourselves on treating each resident as family. This means that any care provided will be to the highest standard available within our means. Each 0f our caregivers are fully vetted and then screened for the core characteristic that we require: compassion. Full on the job training as well as a multitude of resources are provided to each staff member upon committing to being a part of our team. As the boss lady often says: I can teach you to cook, clean, and do basic ADL assistance, I cannot teach you to care. Just as our residents are treated as family, so too are our staff. This creates a safe, warm, and harmonious environment which is of the utmost importance to us.

Care
Caring for your loved one is at the core of what we do. As an assisted living facility (nee Adult Foster Care home, as according to and licensed by the state), we are charged to provide care, supervision, and protection as in each individual care agreement as completed prior to admission. Furthermore, each care agreement is reviewed and updated both annually and as necessary to reflect the individual care needs of each resident. Providing the supervision and protection of each resident starts with admission and continues for as long as they are with us. Individual care plans are tailored to your loved one and can include anything from personal care options to provision of certain activities that best suit their needs. When preparing a care plan, the administrator will sit down with the resident and/or their family members to ensure the best balance of all these elements is reached. Care plans can be ever-changing and are accommodated for as such.
